WiPowerOne was in the third episode of the documentary series "The Future from the Sky" aired on ENA channel at 10:30 pm on Aug. 18th. 

The theme of the episode was "Traffic" of the future. Dr. Cho Dong-ho, the CEO of WiPoerOne, explained the wireless EV charging technology and how it will be essential for sustainable mobility in the future. 
"The Future from the Sky," started broadcasting from August 4th and has been released in more than 20 countries around the world.

WiPowerOne signed a MOU (memorandum of understanding) with VINATech and J&DK, respectively, on Jul. 12th at the VINATech office.

VINATech is the leading supercapacitor manufacturer and provides the energy saving devices including the Hybrid Super Capacitor and Lithium Hybrid Capacitor. J&DK is the prominent logistic system design company.
Through the partnership, WiPowerOne plans to apply wireless power charging in the sustainable mobility using super capacitor and also in the logistics systems.

WiPowerOne participated in 'Viva Technology 2023 (VivaTech)', a technology fair for startups held in Paris, France, from June 14 to 17.

VivaTech has become Europe’s biggest startup event, attracting over 130,000 visitors and more than 8,000 companies, including over 1,300 startups from around 130 countries. This year, South Korea participated as the ‘Country of the Year’, and WiPowerOne and 45 innovative Korean Startups exhibited in a ‘K-Startup’ pavillion at the center of the main hall.

WiPowerOne introduced its highly efficient 22kW wirelss EV charging system. By participating in Viva tech, WiPowerOne's wireless EV charging system provides wide charging area with high energy transfer efficiency. WiPowerOne aims to enter the European market.

WiPowerOne and KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) co-organized the meetings of ISO (International Organization for Standardization) committe in Daejeon, South Korea from June 27th to 31th.

About 20 experts from 6 different countries including South Korea, United States, Germany, Japan, and Israel participated in via online and offline.

With rapid growth of electric heavy-duty vehicles (electric bus, electric truck, etc.), the need for safety and interoperability requirements of wireless power transfer was increased. The committe discussed the standards for heavy-duty vehicles (ISO TC22/SC37 PT5474-6).

It is expected to be an opportunity to prepare an international standardization roadmap for wireless charging for electric commercial vehicles.

ISO 5474-6 was proposed as NP(New Proposal) by WiPowerOne and was approved. The international standardization for electric comercial vehicles are in progress. During the meeting, there was a visit to a bus depot where WiPowerOne's wireless EV charging infrastructure is.
